Meatball Pasta

Meatball Pasta

15 minutes. One pot. Real meatballs.

15 minServes 4

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Ottavio Frozen Meatballs (with tomato sauce)
  • 400g dried pasta (from the pantry)
  • Parmigiano Reggiano, grated
  • Fresh basil (optional)
  • Crusty bread from the bakery

Steps

  1. 1.Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente.
  2. 2.While the pasta cooks, place the sealed meatball bag in a separate pot of simmering water for 10–12 minutes.
  3. 3.Drain the pasta and return to the pot. Open the meatball bag and pour over the pasta — sauce and all.
  4. 4.Toss gently. Serve in warm bowls with grated Parmigiano and torn basil.
  5. 5.Tear off some bread. That's dinner.

The kids can grate the cheese. Give them something to do.

Pizza Night

Pizza Night

Roll it. Top it. Bake it. The kids can help.

25 minServes 4

Ingredients

  • 1 Ottavio Pizza Kit (dough, sauce, mozzarella)
  • Toppings of your choice — we suggest:
  • Prosciutto from the deli
  • Fresh arugula
  • A drizzle of olive oil from the pantry

Steps

  1. 1.Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, put it in now.
  2. 2.Let the dough come to room temperature for 10 minutes. Flour your surface generously.
  3. 3.Roll or stretch the dough into a circle (imperfect is fine — it's homemade).
  4. 4.Spread the pizza sauce. Add the mozzarella. Add your toppings.
  5. 5.Bake for 10–12 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  6. 6.Finish with arugula and a drizzle of your best olive oil. Slice and serve.

Rolling the dough is the best part. Hands in, everyone.
